Hospital Rules & Restrictions Within The Hospital Premises

We strictly restrict waiting of patient attendants outside operation theatre and ward. Eye patients are extremely vulnerable to dust and unhygienic environment. Visitors can be source of infection to them. To avoid inconvenience to the patient, one visitor at a time is allowed in the ward.

Please refrain from visiting patients if you have symptoms such as red eye, fever, cough or cold. Children of age 12 and under are not encouraged in visiting patients due to their relatively low immunity.

Please remove your shoes before entering the OT complex and day care. This is for maintaining hygiene and cleanliness of OT and surrounding environment. o Patient attendants are requested to wait either on the 1st floor or on the 3rd floor.

Please take care of your personal belongings. The hospital management will not be responsible for any loss or damage to the patient's belongings or any other property from the hospital.

Use of mobile phones is prohibited inside the day care or in-front of the operation theatre. If you must use your cell phone in hospital premises, please speak in a soft tone so that other patients are not disturbed.

Please wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand rub before and after visiting patients in the hospital.

No outside food or beverages are allowed in the hospital premises. Patient will be served light snacks and refreshment after surgery. No food / beverages are allowed for visitors in the ward.

All tobacco products are strictly prohibited in the hospital premises.

Surgery patients may be required to make advance payment on 3rd floor admission desk. The advance shall be adjusted against the final bill at the time of discharge. Please clear your bills before discharge and get receipt for all payments made.

Please do not offer any bakshish / tip to any of the hospital employee. For evaluation of hospital services, you are requested to fill up the patient's feedback form provided to you. Your suggestion will help us to serve you better.

Violence against medical, paramedical, other hospital staff and damage to hospital property are punishable offences.
